Excellent hotel
This is a lovely hotel well run and managed. Room was superb and the location perfect for exploring the lakes and being a base to tour from. Room Nicely presented, clean modern and I liked a bedside light so much I found some online for home. Have got it spot on for managing guests and breakfast more...through Covid. Pre order breakfast from an excellent selection and It was delicious.
I’d say their approach is a template others should follow not only for Covid but a way of reducing food waste overall where old style buffets could have had leftovers uneaten.
Thoroughly recommended and I would certainly go straight back their again if we make another trip to the Lakes.

Absolutely Wonderful - we will be back!
What can I say? Room fantastic, Hosts Fantastic, Breakfast fantastic. No complaints at all - everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back! You may be likely to put weight on though ....... what with the plentiful breakfast and then Jane's tasty slices more...of home-made cake and biscuits left in your room - YUMMY.

Wonderful short break
This was our first trip under Covid restrictions but our minds were put at rest immediately. They had made the accommodation very COVID friendly, social distancing measures in place and plenty of hand sanitisers. Accommodation was clean and exceeded expectations. There more...were friendly and helpful. Homemade biscuits available in the rooms and on the table (individually wrapped of course) which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and will go back and stay again. Location was good, short walk either way to Windermere or Bowness.
