We think it is important to start the day right and our delicious freshly cooked traditional Cumbrian Breakfast, with many locally produced ingredients, takes some beating.

Vegetarian and special diets are catered for, just let us know your requirements when you book your stay with us. We will try to accommodate any special requests.

Breakfast is served between 08.30hr and 09.30hr.

Full Lake District Grill - Fried egg, locally sourced Bacon, Pork Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomato, Fried Bread, Black Pudding and Baked Beans

Vegetarian Grill - Fried Egg, Vegetable Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomato, Fried Bread, Hash Brown and Baked Beans

Scrambled Eggs - with hot buttered toast

Smoked Salmon and Scrambled eggs - served with wholemeal toast

American Style Pancakes - served with maple syrup and grilled bacon

Poached Eggs - served on hot buttered toast

Baked Beans on Toast

Bacon Sandwich - toasted or not, on white or brown

Gluten free options include: gluten free pork sausage, gluten and wheat free bread, buckwheat pancakes with bacon and maple syrup
